Join the American Association of Nurse Practitioners® (AANP) in sunny Anaheim, California, for the opportunity to earn continuing education (CE) credit, connect with your nurse practitioner (NP) colleagues and enjoy everything the Golden State has to offer. This event offers advanced learning in six topical areas and the chance to exchange clinical pearls with fellow attendees who share your clinical interests. Registrants for the in-person conference will also receive access to the 2022 AANP Fall Conference on-demand package at no extra charge! Please note registration for the in-person option is only available onsite in Anaheim.

    Why Attend the In-person 2022 AANP Fall Conference?

    Attendees
    • Select from six topical areas and more than 100 sessions for diverse, advanced learning opportunities.
    • Earn up to 18 contact hours (CH) of CE credit at the in-person conference (includes all sessions Thursday through Sunday) and up to 50 CH of CE credit for the on-demand package.
    • Find opportunities for collegial networking with hundreds of NPs.
    • Experience the Anaheim Marriott with NPs from across the country who share your interest in high-quality education, information sharing and leadership skills.
    • Choose from an in-person or on-demand conference package. Plus, if you attend in person, you will receive complimentary access to the on-demand portion, with 50 prerecorded sessions from the in-person conference published after they are presented in person.

    Topical Areas

    Six topical areas will be presented at the 2022 AANP Fall Conference. Within each topical area, registered attendees can choose from a number of sessions on a variety of therapeutic areas — or select sessions from multiple topical areas to create your personalized conference experience! Topics include:

    • Orthopedics and Medical Imaging.
    • Pharmacology.

    *An AANP Educational Leadership Certificate is available for those who complete all 12 required sessions. This certificate does not provide a pathway toward the AANP Executive Leadership Program.

    CE Sessions

    AANP is pleased to present more than 100 sessions at the in-person 2022 AANP Fall Conference, available Thursday, September 15, through Sunday, September 18. Sessions can be selected during the online registration process.

    In-person conference attendees also receive access to the full on-demand fall conference package, which includes 50 recorded sessions and five bonus sessions at no extra charge!


    Presentation Handouts

    The link to access presentation handouts will be emailed to all conference registrants by early September. Registrants are encouraged to print the materials or store them on an electronic device prior to attending sessions. In addition, all handouts can be viewed using the AANP Mobile App, which is available for iOS and Android devices.


    Exhibit Hall

    Make plans to visit the Exhibit Hall to explore new products, services and trends in health care! A number of booths will be available from a variety of health care organizations and health tech companies. The Exhibit Hall will be open:

    • Thursday, September 15, 3:30-5:30 p.m.
    • Friday, September 16, 11:30 a.m.-5 p.m.
    • Saturday, September 17, 7-10 a.m.

    Industry Supported and Sponsored (IS) Events

    The cost of IS events with food service presented at the 2022 AANP Fall Conference is not included in the conference registration fees. Limited, non-CE product theaters are funded entirely by the supporting or sponsoring company, allowing AANP to offer some conference registrants complimentary access to a limited number of non-CE educational presentations.

    Due to their educational focus and guideline requirements, attendance is restricted to only conference registrants. To expedite processing attendees into these events, registration will occur on-site at the entrance of each scheduled event on a first-come, first-served basis. There is no pre-registration.

    Housing Information

    AANP Housing Block

    The Anaheim Marriott is the site for the 2022 AANP Fall Conference.

    The special conference rate of $229 (single/double) plus taxes and fees per night will be honored for conference registrants and their guests for reservations covering lodging between Monday, September 12, and Monday, September 19, based on availability.

    All reservations must be made by Wednesday, August 17, at 11:59 p.m. ET, or before the block is sold out, whichever comes first.

    Getting to Anaheim

    The John Wayne-Orange County International Airport is conveniently located 20-30 minutes away from the Anaheim Marriott and is serviced by more than 10 airlines. If you live along the Pacific Coast, consider taking a road trip to the conference!

    Getting Around Anaheim

    Many restaurants, shops and fun things to do are located within walking distance of the Anaheim Marriott. Hail a taxi or use the app-based Uber or Lyft ride-hailing services to navigate around town or within the surrounding area. In addition, Anaheim also offers on-demand, local transportation using a micro-transit fleet of electric vehicles called Free Rides Around the Neighborhood (FRAN). Ride for free throughout Downtown Anaheim to visit places like the Historic Packing District, Carnegie Plaza and Founder's Park.     Important Information and Conference Policies

    By registering for the 2022 AANP Fall Conference, you agree to abide by the AANP Conference Terms of Services and Release of Liability, AANP Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.

    AANP reserves the right to change information on this webpage without advance notice.


    Registration Policies

    Cancellation and Refunds

    All cancellation requests must be submitted to AANP no later than 11:59 p.m. ET on Monday, August 1; no refunds will be granted after this date. To cancel your conference registration, you must submit written notice via the AANP Help Center. A refund will then be issued, less a $75 administrative fee or a $25 administrative fee for student registrations (entry-level student members only).

    No Shows

    If you do not cancel in writing by 11:59 p.m. ET on August 1, and you do not attend, no refund will be granted.


    Housing Policies

    Housing Cancellations

    If you cancel your conference registration, remember to cancel your housing reservation within the AANP housing block. AANP reserves the right to remove any housing reservations that are not supported by a conference registration.

    Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA)

    The Anaheim Marriott complies with the requirements specified by the ADA. AANP is responsible for all non-permanent accessibility requirements. If you have any questions or require special accommodations or auxiliary aid relating to a disability for your conference attendance, please notify AANP via the AANP Help Center or 512-442-4262 no later than Monday, August 15.

    Animals

    Live animals are prohibited within the Anaheim Marriott, other than animal(s) that serve a guide or service function as defined by the ADA. The ADA defines service animals as dogs that are individually trained to do work or perform tasks for people with disabilities.

    Firearms and Weapons

    Firearms and weapons are prohibited at the 2022 AANP Fall Conference, which is held within the Anaheim Marriott.

    Name Badges

    Registered Attendees: Registered attendees must wear their official conference name badge at all times to access conference events. There will be a $25 fee to reprint a lost badge.

    Guests of Registered Attendees: Guest badges may be purchased for $50 each for persons aged 16 and older. This guest badge allows entrance into the Exhibit Hall only.

    Children

    Children, including infants, under the age of 16 are not allowed in conference sessions or the Exhibit Hall due to safety concerns, audio recording and the need to maintain an appropriate learning environment.

    Child Care

    AANP does not arrange or provide child care services during the fall conference. The Anaheim Marriott does not offer child care services.

    Conference Attire

    Attire is business casual. The Anaheim Marriott strives to keep rooms at a comfortable temperature, but layered clothing is strongly suggested. Comfortable shoes are highly recommended.

    Smoking

    Smoking is prohibited in the Anaheim Marriott. This includes traditional cigarettes, cigars, vaping devices and e-cigarettes.

    Standing and Sitting in Classrooms

    In classrooms, sitting in chairs is required for the majority of presentations due to Fire Marshal regulations. Sitting on floors is not permitted. Standing is very limited and not allowed unless there is a hands-on or networking portion of the session, or you have a medical or health condition. Please kindly inform the classroom assistants if you have a medical or health condition and need to stand during part of a session.

    What are the dates of the in-person conference?

    The in-person conference will be held September 15-18, 2022, in Anaheim, California.

    What happens after I register?

    A receipt will be emailed to you after you complete your registration. The receipt will include housing information.

    How many contact hours of CE are available?

    Attendees can earn up to 18 CH of CE during the in-person conference by selecting one session for each available time slot throughout the week. By registering for the in-person conference, attendees will also have access to 50 of these prerecorded sessions via the on-demand platform, published after the in-person sessions have been presented.

    What is the registration cancellation policy?

    Cancellation requests must be received by Monday, August 1, 2022, at 11:59 p.m. ET. If received by August 1, 2022, a refund will be issued, minus a $75 administrative fee or a $25 administrative fee for student registrations (entry-level student members only). After Monday, August 1, 2022, no refund will be granted. Conference registration fees are non-transferable.

    How do I secure housing?

    In order to receive the discounted AANP rate, all housing reservations must be made through the 2022 AANP Fall Conference Housing site. All reservations must be made by Wednesday, August 17, at 11:59 p.m. ET, or before the block is sold out, whichever comes first. Be on the lookout for third-party room poachers misrepresenting themselves as travel agents.

    What health and safety precautions are being taken?

    To reduce the risk of infectious disease transmission, AANP will follow the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and local guidelines or regulations in place at the time of the event.
